2026 SPACE CITY SHOOTOUT
Please click either button below to download your single entrant registration form. Fill in your own details, and then fill out one line for each model you wish to enter.
You’re free to use either form according to your preference. Both forms have the same content and both show the cumulative entry fee for each model you wish to enter. Both forms have been set up so you can fill them in on your computer, without needing to write them out by hand.
Fill in your registration form and print it out before you leave home. Bring it to the registration desk when you arrive. This will save you a lot of time and will make it much easier to get your entries processed.
You must fill in and print one table card for each kit you wish to enter.
Please click the button below to download your table card. The purpose of a table card is for you to describe the model. Typically you would include the manufacturer name, model type, scale etc. and any other details you think the judges should consider. DO NOT include your name, or any personally identifiable details on the table card so each entry remains anonymous during the judging process.
Bring your pre-printed table cards and entry form with you to the registration desk when you arrive at the show. One of our staff will assign an ID number for you and record it on each of your table cards. Each table card must have your ID on it so we can award your prizes after judging.
After your IDs have been assigned, take your kits to the table/section for their category and find a place to lay them out. Place a table card under, or next to each kit.
Judging and Awards
Our head judge will assign a panel of 3 judges who will choose 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners for each category.
Each category winner will receive a trophy from the HAMS club.
After the winners of each individual categories have been chosen, the judges will convene and award the “Best of …” trophies:
- Best Of Show
- Best Charger (featured car of 2026)
- Best Salvinos J R kit
- Best theme cars from Route 66
- Best Competition car
- Best Paint
- Best Engine
- Best Interior
The “Best of…” prizes are provided by our generous sponsors.
Route 66 Theme Description:
Any car, truck, or motorcycle that appeared in the TV show Route 66. Does not have to be exact replica.
Color choice to be decided by entrant as show was in black and white.
